Awareness. Education. Collaboration. Advocacy

  • Give voice to those who have lost family members or loved ones to suicide, as well as those who have acted on suicidal ideation and those who are helping someone stay alive.
  • Increase suicide prevention awareness in order to reduce stigma and shame.
  • Educate congregations and church leaders on appropriate actions to take to prevent suicide and to recover from a suicide death.
  • Build suicide prevention collaboration among LIFE campaign, full communion partners, and other faith-based communities. Develop advocacy efforts on a micro and macro level in faith based communities for programs, research, and financial support for suicide prevention.

  • Reducing suicidal despair is a crucial goal in helping one another through faith and action.
  • Zero suicides is a commitment to suicide prevention in the health and behavioral care systems and is also a set of specific skills and tools.

Advocacy

We are advocating the people to make them feel that there is more to life. Millions of people every day are having suicidal thoughts in their minds; We, the LIFE group are here to help the people with those kinds of problems no matter how small your problem is, because we value life the greatest gift that was ever bestowed upon us. We are here to help make a stand about suicide.


Our Work

Is to make the public aware about suicide, how they can help people form preventing it , how they can solve their problems with the help of others because we know that you can do something better with your life you can make it a whole lot better, the struggles that they experience everyday is just a challenge to make them even more stronger.We are here to make them feel that they are not alone in this world and we and other people can help them little by little.


Advocacy Campaigns

Training

Fully funded places on the internationally – recognised, 2-day ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) course for non mental health professionals who working / volunteering with vulnerable groups across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. We are also funded to deliver our own awareness-raising, half-day STOP Suicide workshop. For more information please click here

The STOP Suicide Pledge

An opportunity for individuals and organisations to demonstrate their commitment to suicide prevention by pledging to have open and direct conversations about suicide, to seek help if they are struggling and to encourage others to do the same.
