Asist: Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training

ASIST is a comprehensive two day course which enables you to become more willing, ready and able to help people who are at risk of suicide.

Suicide TALK – Suicide Alertness For Everyone

Suicide Talk is a 90-minute to half-day session that invites participants to become more aware of suicide prevention opportunities in their community. Dealing openly with the stigma around suicide, this informal exploration focuses upon the question, Should we talk about suicide ?

STOP Suicide Workshop

A half-day, purpose-designed training course for voluntary, community and social care sector workers, providing basic risk- assessment and intervention skills.


Zero Suicide Alliance FREE Suicide Prevention Training

This training is offered by the Zero Suicide Alliance. It will teach you how to recognise the warning signs and safeguard someone that could be contemplating suicide.  The free, 20 minute course will teach you:

  • How to identify when someone may be having suicidal thoughts or behaviour.

  • How to talk openly and confidently to a suicidal person about their thoughts and feelings.

  • The best process for signposting individuals to services or support networks that can help them.

The STOP Suicide Pledge

An opportunity for individuals and organisations to demonstrate their commitment to suicide prevention by pledging to have open and direct conversations about suicide, to seek help if they are struggling and to encourage others to do the same.
